Money aspects

There will be no fee for the course (the organizers like dry red wines). Participants need to pay the hotel themselves. There is a bank (ABN-AMRO) at the university campus. Please notice that as of 01-01-2002, the Dutch unit of currency (florin) is no longer the legal currency unit, but has been replaced by the EURO. 1 EURO is about USD 1.27. And 1 USD is about 0.80 EURO (February, 2004)

Lunch and Dinner

We have lunch in the cafetaria of the science faculty. Approximately Euro 2,50 for bread and soup etc. Dinner in the University Restaurant (De Refter) costs Euro 3,18 for a warm meal. Opening Hours: monday untill friday from 12.00 to 13.30 and from 17.00 to 19.00.

Industrial scientists can participate without paying a fee. We do hope however, (but that is not a condition) that an industrial participant picks up the bill for the conference dinner....

Social aspects of the course

The course will be cancelled if three hours long nobody laughs. But besides that the social program is mainly improvised. The Wednesday evenings are the only somewhat planned social event.
