The CMBI offers courses for academic students in Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Life Sciences and Natural Sciences. It is also possible to do a research project (stage) to learn bioinformatics or cheminformatis in practice.

Master Programme Bioinformatics

Since autumn 2001 the CMBI offers a two-year master programme in Bioinformatics. This is a combination of curricular courses and a research project. A more detailed description about the master programme and the required primary training is available.

Mol4D

The Mol4D - Molecules in Four Dimensions - project exists of an organic chemistry educational web site.
Mol4D consists of two main parts:

• A large number of subjects from the organic chemistry curriculum. These tutorials add a 3D aspect to molecular models, and even 4D if we consider the animations.
• A molecule editor to build your own molecules, make your own animations of reactions!

SAMSAM

The SAMSAM project is a CMBI-project which is sponsored by the Dutch Royal Chemistry Society (KNCV). SAMSAM - Students Access Molecular Structures and Modelling - offers acces to state-of-the-art computer tools via internet for free. Part of SAMSAM pages are especially developed for students.
