Xterm is a Xwindows terminal emulator which is readily available for all Xwindow platforms. MXterm uses the MOTIF widget library, adding a 3D appearance to menus and scrollbars, etc. Later a set of escape codes where added to generate color text. This version is also readily available from anonymous ftp sites. To this version the following features were added:

• Character attributes, such as bold,reverse etc are rendered in color.

• Automatic switching to tek4014 mode.

• Tektronix emulation halfway tek4014-tek4100, tek4100 supports color graphics.

• A customized application defaults file.
